For Feeling Connected to Something Bigger
US$6 3 practices · 6 tracks · listen or download
Get the pack · US$6There are moments when we feel part of something bigger. It might be looking up at the stars, or a coincidence that seems too neat to be chance. Then there are long stretches when we forget.
Forgetting is part of it. We forget, and then something helps us remember. These affirmations are one way of remembering, whatever name you give that bigger thing.
You don’t need to think about the words, or agree with all of them. Let them flow through you. If the mind argues, notice it, and come back to the breath.
There are three tracks: a longer practice anchored to the breath, affirmations on the power of possibility, and a short prayer to the universe. Each comes in a full and a shorter version.
What’s inside
The Universe Is Ours

Full version · 17 minShorter version · 11 min
For when you want to remember there’s more to life. First you find an anchor, wherever you feel the movement of your breathing, and let your body relax: ‘Allow is the magic word here.’ Then the affirmations, such as ‘I trust this moment’ and ‘I am the Noticer’, and seeing synchronicity ‘in the numbers’ and ‘in the stars’. The full version goes on to lines of kindness, like ‘I choose to hold myself lightly’, and repeats the closing affirmations. The shorter version ends after ‘The universe is ours.’
The Power of Possibility
2 versions
Full version · 19 minStandard version · 14 min
For trusting that things can change. It opens with the hand-on-heart tip, using ‘Nothing holds me back’ as the example. Then the affirmations, first spoken to you and then in the first person, like ‘The universe is on your side’ and ‘I have time.’ There’s a lot of space and music between the lines. It ends with ‘It’s on its way. It is here.’ The standard version has the same affirmations, with fewer repeats.
In Prayer
2 versions
Full version · 9 minShorter version · 4 min
For when you want to pray, or simply give thanks. It begins: ‘This is me, me here now, with my affirmations.’ You thank the universe and acknowledge that everything unfolding can be there for your spiritual growth, while admitting ‘it’s hard to accept this sometimes, and that this is okay.’ The affirmations trust in the process of life and in support ‘both seen and unseen’. It closes with ‘This is me. Here I am.’ The shorter version keeps the heart of the prayer, with fewer affirmations.
