Get the pack · US$8There are things we carry, about ourselves and about other people, that we never quite put down. Things we wish we’d done differently. Harsh words, some said out loud and some only in our own heads.
Ho’oponopono is a Hawaiian practice for making things right. It rests on four simple phrases: ‘I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.’ We don’t have to work anything out, or feel a particular way. We let the phrases move through us, towards ourselves or towards someone else, and see what softens.
Turning these words inwards can feel strange at first, especially saying sorry to yourself. In these practices it comes from awareness and compassion. It’s a way of meeting yourself where you’re at.
There are three tracks. Two are long practices for bedtime, and each also comes in a short version for any time of day. The Sacred Soundscape repeats the four phrases slowly over music, all through the night if you like.

Ho’oponopono for Me
3 versions
Full version, for sleep · 36 minWith gongs · 7 minMicro version · 5 min
For the things you hold against yourself. As you settle into bed, I introduce Ho’oponopono and its four phrases, then we turn them inwards. Each one opens up a little, like ‘I’m sorry for the harshness my mind has spoken to me’ and ‘Thank you for showing up, again and again.’ It ends with love for the child within, still learning to trust, as you drift off. The two short versions keep the introduction and repeat the four phrases over gongs, three rounds or two.
Ho’oponopono for Others
2 versions
Full version, for sleep · 22 minShort talk and practice · 5 min
For someone you love, someone you miss, or anyone it feels right to make peace with. Each phrase is offered to them with a few personal lines, like ‘I’m sorry for not seeing how much you were carrying’ and ‘Thank you for coming into my life.’ Then some words to rest in, ‘You are safe. You are connected. You are loved’, before the phrases repeat as you sleep, over 852Hz tones. The short version explains each phrase in a line, then goes through them twice.
Ho’oponopono Sacred Soundscape
48 min
For letting the four phrases carry you through the night. After a short welcome and a reminder that ‘all you need to do is drift away’, you hear ‘You are safe. You are connected. You are loved.’ Then the four phrases repeat slowly, round after round, over a sacred soundscape, with the pauses between them growing longer as the track goes on. There’s nothing to follow and nothing you need to do.
